Come on Playoffs
Last night marked the end of the regular season in my softball league. Next week is the start of the tournament. We started off the season in very bad shape but managed to pull together an 8 game win streak to put us in third with a 12 & 8 record.
Below are my final stats for this season.

darkthrone, I'm hooked
I've been playing this free online game for a week now and I am hooked. the game is darkthrone and it's all done just by clicking. No joy stick or any thing like that needed. Just build your army and gain points. I'm a level 13 Human Cleric.

AHA Club Only
Just wanted to let you know of a personal non work related project that I've been working on. The American Homebrews Association does what's called a "Club Only" competition every couple of months. This competition is hosted by clubs around America. This Sunday my club M.U.G.Z. is hosting this event. I registered us back in 2002 and now the time has come. The competition is focused on one style with the idea that each club send 1 entry as the best from there club to compete with the best from other clubs. Get the idea? The style we are doing is a new BJCP style knows as Irish Red Ale. We thought since it was new we would only get about 20 entries but instead ended up in the mid 30's. Well, I guess that's it for now.

What's the Buzz
Saturday I went to Champaign IL to judge at
The Tenth Annual BUZZ Boneyard
Brew-Off . A fellow judge
from the Quads went with. We had a fine time and I came back home with a
3rd place ribbon for my Strong Scotch Ale (Wee
Heavy) I had a few others entered that didn't place but we did well in
their raffle. It's starting to become a little victory cry for us.
"We might not leave with all of your ribbons but we will take most of the
raffle" :-)
